Smith's Service Buffet and Lounge was located in Manitou Springs, Colo., "where the world's famous Pike's Peak Highway begins."

Except for finding an ad in the 1939 Colorado College yearbook and the postcard below that includes the logo, we would have wondered if this was a service station giveaway. Consequently, we have no idea how long the restaurant was in business, other than the late 1930s to the early 1940s.
