The most likely location that this wonderful pat was used was as at the Alpha Café in Wapokoneta, Ohio. It’s still in business after more than a hundred years. I have no proof of this, it just feels right, and the pat looks to me to be very old.

The checkered pat is not backstamped for a manufacturer. It is 2 5/8” across and has only light use marks. It’s perfect for a butter pat collector or for anyone in the Wapokoneta area.
