This beautiful compote, made between 1896 and 1946 by John Maddock & Son in Beresford, England, is decorated with Acanthus leaves – a classical design seen on many of the early 20^th century pieces.

The compote is a large one: 8 inches in diameter by 4 inches high. It is in excellent condition with medium utensil marks.
