This is an especially heavy, plain white bowl, decorated after market and overglazed for doubtless a beloved but unknown to us poodle (and probably not as famous as our other poodle-on-a-bowl, Pulaski's Masterpiece.

The backstamp/distributor says: Von Lengerke & Antoine, which was a sports and hunting retailor located on South Wabash Avenue in Chicago and a competitor to Abercrombie & Fitch. They were bought out by the latter in 1928.
