This dainty compote is 4" in diameter and 2 3/8" tall, and in excellent condition, save for one small glaze skip in the green line, which can be seen on the right side. The Borden 1857 seal, which appears to be overglazed, is complete and clear. In spite of the glare in the photos, the metallic gold lines are complete as well.
The seal reads: "Since 1857, the greatest name in milk."
The dish has a 1928-1930 date code.
