This handsome, large compote is unmarked, but based on every other piece I’ve seen with this design, I’m certain it was made by Syracuse. As you can see, black and red pin stripes decorate the inside rim, with the only other decoration being the mystery man wearing the hat of Scotland, the Tam O’Shanter.
The compote is especially heavy and is 8 ¾” in diameter and 4 ¾” tall. Condition is excellent.
