From what I could find, the Hotel Ritz was built in Mexico City in 1923. This handsome plate was made by Syracuse on its Old Ivory body in 1946. The plate is heavy and is 9 ¾” across.
It is very shiny with light-to-medium use marks and a very small extra bit of red glaze at the 4 o’clock location. On the back, there’s a manufacturing flaw on the foot that was glaze over and makes no difference as to the plate’s stability.
SHIPPING NOTE: Due to limitations of the software here, shipping is quoted by Priority Mail. However, there are times that a significant amount of money can be saved by shipping by Parcel Select, especially to the Midwest and West. Therefore, at my discretion I will use that option when possible and refund any overpayment. If you’d ever like to have a shipping quote before you purchase, use to Contact button to make that request. And of course I’ll combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible!
